Everything you need to know about the Web-Ready Access Platform, who it is for, and how to make the most of it.
Here's what you can do in the Web-Ready Access Platform:
The Web-Ready Access (WRA) Platform is a free resource created by Oasis of Change, a youth-led nonprofit focused on digital sustainability. The Platform helps nonprofits, small organizations, and mission-driven teams build websites that are sustainable, accessible, and supported by in-kind technology grants: all without needing a big budget or a technical background.
Whether you are a community organization just getting started online or an established nonprofit looking to improve your digital presence, this playbook is for you. You will find clear, jargon-free guides on three pillars:
At Oasis of Change, we have helped nonprofits secure over $865,000 in in-kind technology grants based on the maximum eligible value of the programs listed. We have also achieved up to 98% reductions in website carbon emissions for our clients. If a youth-led organization can do it, your team can do it too.
Start with accessibility foundations, optimize sustainability next, then package outcomes into stronger tech-grant applications.

Reduce page weight and hosting impact after core usability. Performance work also helps low-bandwidth audiences.
Use progress from the first two tracks as evidence in applications for in-kind credits, software, and support.
Each track has a Key takeaways section at the top. Toggle Plain English for essentials (no jargon) or Technical for specs and implementation details. Assign one owner per track and run a 30-minute weekly checkpoint to maintain momentum.
The Web-Ready Access Platform was created by Oasis of Change Inc., a federal not-for-profit corporation based in Vancouver, Canada. Oasis of Change is a youth-led organization focused on digital sustainability and environmental impact reduction, founded by Gabriel Dalton.
This resource was developed with support from a Government of Canada grant through Service Canada, as part of Oasis of Change's mission to equip nonprofits with the practical tools they need to thrive in the digital world.
